Día Creativo- Manualidad- Lámparas de Papel al estilo Enredados (Tangled)

Como ya saben estoy ENREDADA en los preparativos del cumpleaños de mi hija. Va a hacer una Fiesta de Arte al estilo de Rapunzel y por supuesto tendrá algunas cosas de la película Enredados (Tangled). Hoy estaba buscando ideas para hacer esas hermosas lámparas de papel que aparecen en la película. Encontré algunos buenos tutoriales en "You tube", pero también descubrí que para hacer algo bonito y similar a lo que sale en la película tenía que sacar un poco de tiempo y pasar bastante trabajo. Así que para hacer este proceso un poco más llevadero, diseñé este patrón que se puede imprimir. Lo imprimí en un papel amarillo y comenzé a recortar el patrón (les recomiendo una tijera buena y afilada). Pegué 'tissue' paper' al otro papel amarillo (también pueden utilizar papel encerado yo use 'tissue" para darle un poco de color). Luego junté las esquinas del papel para formar un rollo y las pegué con cinta adhesiva. Así que ahí tienen una pequeña y hermosa lámpara de papel que pueden utilizar para decorar su fiesta. Yo pusé una velita dentro de una jarra de cristal vacía de comida de bebé y puse la lamparita alrededor (IMPORTANTE! No pongan una vela desprotegida dentro porque en vez de una lámpara tendrán una antorcha! Recuerden que estamos trabajando con fuego y papel.)

Yo se que esto les tomará un poco de tiempo y trabajo, pero también sé que nosotras las madres estamos dispuestas a hacer lo que sea para hacer felices a nuestras pequeñas, la mía casi se desmalla cuando la vió prendida en la oscuridad!

Así que pongánsen creativas y hagan esta super hermosa lámpara de papel de Tangled. Feliz día creativo!

As you all know I am all TANGLED in the preparation of  my daughter's birthday. It's going to be a Rapunzel Art Party and will have of course some things of Tangled movie. Today, I was looking for ideas to make those beautiful paper lanterns that appear in the movie. I found some great  tutorials on You tube but also found out that in order to make something beautiful and similar to the ones of the movie I most take my time and have to work hard. So to make this process easier I designed this printable pattern. I printed them in a yellow color paper and start to cut out the pattern (I recommend a good and sharp scissor). Glued (with a glue stick) some tissue paper to the yellow paper (you can also use wax paper, I just wanted to make the more colorful). After that I taped the corners together to form a roll. So there you go, a cute little lantern that you can use to decorate your party. I placed a tea candle inside of a empty baby food glass jar and put the lantern around it (IMPORTANT! Do not place the lantern on a unprotected candle or you will have no lantern but a torch! Remember you are dealing with fire and paper!)
I know this will take a little bit of work but also know that moms are willing to make anything in order to make our little girls happy, mine almost faint when she saw it light up in the dark!

Nuevo en la Tienda- Colección de Halloween para Niños

La semana pasada mis niños me pidieron una fiesta verde, ellos querían dulces verdes y todo decorado con ese color.  Yo no se porqué escogieron ese color. supongo que lo vieron en algún muñequito. Pero, como sabran, si ellos piden algocomo eso, yo usualmente cumplo. Yo soy ese tipo de madre que hacen lo imposible para crear algo grandioso de cualquier cosa. Por lo menos, eso trato.
Esta vez era un reto porque el verde no es un color muy apetitoso. Pero, ya que Halloween está a la vuelta de la esquina, una Fiesta de Halloween verde y tenebrosa era simplemente perfecta. Yo quería que fuera más bien su fiesta, por lo tanto busqué inspiración para manualidades y encontré algunas que fueran fáciles de crear por ellos y además que fueran útiles para la fiesta. El sábado fue un día muy creativo, hicimos vasitos para dulces de momias, envases para regalos en forma de Frankenstein y además hicimos algunas delicias. Luego de eso, me puse creativa y diseñé y preaparé toda una colección de papel. Utilicé muchísimo el color verde, pero también integré el color violeta para crear un poco de contraste. Hice unos personajes "tenebrosos" para niños, ambos verdes, Frankenstein (no podía faltar) y una pequeña y delicada bruja de cara verde. Luego, preparamos todo en el espacio designado para mis niños en la sala de estar y nos divertimos mucho en el Tenebroso Verde Halloween Party.

Last week my kids ask me for a green party, they wanted green candies and everything decorated with that color.  I don't know why they picked that color, I suppose they have seen it in some cartoons. But, as you may know, if  they ask for something like that,  I usually deliver! I am that kind of mom that make the impossible to create something great out of everything. At least,  I try!
This time it was a challenge because green is not a very tasting looking color. But since Halloween is just around the corner a Spooky Green Halloween Party was just perfect! I want them to make some of the decoration so I looked for crafty inspiration and found several crafts easy for them to make and also useful for the party. Saturday was a very crafty day, we made treat cups mommies, Frankenstein favor containers and also made some treats. After that I got creative and designed and prepared a whole paper collection. I used the green color a lot, but also integrate purple in order to create some contrast. I designed two kid looking "spooky" characters, both green, Frankenstein (of course) and a little cute Green face witch! After that we prepared everything in the space designated for my kids in the living room and we had a blast in our  Spooky Green Halloween Party!

Por las que lucharon y ganaron, por las que todavía están luchando y por aquellas que ya no están con nosotros. Le dedicamos esta tabla de inspiración a todas. Este año en este mes de octubre, el cual es el mes de Alerta contra el Cancer de Mama, Little things Creations va a publicar una hermosa colección llamada Fiesta Rosa por una causa que será para bajar gratis. Today Monday of Ideas is dedicated for those incredible women that have fight the terrible illness of Breast Cancer. For the ones who fight it and won, for the ones who are still fighting and for those who are not with us anymore. We dedicate to you all this inspiration board. This is year during this October which is the National Awareness Breast Cancer month, Little things Creations will post a beautiful Pink Party for a Cause Collection in English and in Spanish, which will be free to download.
